| Welcome to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) 
			website for the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review 
			of proposed construction of the Kimball Substation Project. This 
			site provides access to public documents and information relevant to 
			the CEQA review process. An application for this project was submitted to 
			the CPUC on December 29, 2006. The application was determined to be 
			complete and in compliance with CPUC requirements on May 1, 2007. Background In response to CPUC General Order No. 131-D, SCE has applied for 
			a permit to construct a 66/12 kilovolt (kV) substation in eastern 
			Chino, California. Additionally, the proposed project would upgrade 
			existing 66kV subtransmission lines along public streets and within 
			existing SCE rights-of-way, and would construct new 12 kV 
			underground distribution. Full project details are outlined in the
