of Sound Solid Wood for Communication Poles in Grade “F” Construction
This table is suitable for poles supporting exchange or local distribution lines of 10 or less open wires. The circumferences given in this table are based on a safety factor of one–half, a modulus of rupture in bending of 5,600 pounds per square inch, and the maximum number of wires (0.104” in diameter) shown in the headings of the respective columns
