Construction Highlights
01/10/99 (Sunday)Segment 1 (Emidio to ANF) Report for 10 January 1999: Fiber optic cable splicing crew was working at the sites south of Tributary to Cuddy Creek. The water line from the spring on Tejon Bench has been repaired and water is being diverted. The erosion control devices in this area have been repaired and supplemental devices were installed. Fencing crew was at the valve north of the California Aqueduct. A crew working south of the California Aqueduct. Welders were working on fittings at the Tejon Bench/I-5 bore. Finish work was occurring at the Grapevine Creek bore. Preparations are being made for running cleaning pigs. Memos were issued reminding PPSI to stop using the unapproved California Aqueduct access road and that spills need to be removed from Frazier Park Yard and Rock Road Yard.
