Construction Highlights

02/05/99 (Friday)

Segment 5 (Lynwood to Long Beach): Report for 2-5-99. Crews exposed the end of the bore casing on Lomita Blvd and completed a short section of trench. In addition, one segment of pipe was lowered into the ditch on the southern end of the Huntway section while crews worked to coat several tube turns on the 16'' pipe. No work was conducted at the Edison site although crews removed scaffolding and placed rock around the Lynwood station.
