The following is a brief summary of the environmental monitoring activities that were completed between February 10, 1999 1:00 and 1:00 on February 11, 1999. Construction Highlights

02/10/99 (Wednesday)

Segment 5 (Lynwood to Long Beach): Report for 2-10-99. Crews excavated and placed shoring boxes into the receiving pit south of the Wilmington refinery. Meanwhile, painting and insulation crews continued work on the above ground pipe within the Wilmington station. Northward, crews cored holes into the top of the vault box then centered the vault bottom in the bore pit at the Edison station site. Likewise, at Lynwood station crews worked to complete the rolling door while final electrical work still remains to be completed on the stations alarm system.
