The following is a brief summary of the environmental monitoring activities that were completed between February 18, 1999 1:00 and 1:00 on February 19, 1999. Construction Highlights

02/18/99 (Thursday)

Segment 5 (Lynwood to Long Beach): Report for 2-18-99. Welders completed the tie-in on the 16'' line then crews worked backfilling the bore pit within the Wilmington refinery. Meanwhile, crews completed 40' of backfill then moved several drums from the right of way on the Huntway section. A large crane is being utilized to remove the shoring boxes from the Edison bore pit. In addition, crews placed a ring seal around the pipe and began backfilling the bore pit.
