Construction Highlights

02/26/99 (Friday)

Segment 5 (Lynwood to Long Beach): Report for 2-26-99. Crews continued painting and backfilling in the Wilmington refinery. In addition, several sections of pipe were removed and backfill of the station fire hydrants was completed. Meanwhile, during trenching several GATX lines were encountered in the ditch along the Huntway connection. Further, one joint was welded, x-rayed then coated while shading and backfill of the trench continued.
