Construction Highlights
Spread 1
City of Long Beach
Spread 1 work in the City of Long Beach has been completed.
City of Paramount
No Spread 1 work occurred in the City of Paramount during the shift.
City of Bellflower
No work occurred in the City of Bellflower during the shift.
City of Cerritos
The crew at the San Gabriel River bore cut off sections of the original lead joint of the 30-inch casing pipe that has broken off and is blocking the alignment. The crew cut off the last joint of casing pipe and pulled the augers back to cut the old section of pipe. Much of the shift was spent removing the obstruction from the path of the casing pipe and returning the augers to the inside of the casing pipe. Approximately 260 feet of casing pipe has been pushed through the bore.
City of Artesia
No work occurred in the City of Artesia during the shift.
City of Norwalk
No work occurred in the City of Norwalk during the shift.

Los Angeles County
No work occurred in Los Angeles County during the shift.
City of Long Beach
The crew at the Los Angeles River worked until 5:00 PM to complete welding and pushing the casing pipe through to DeForest Park. The contractor was notified that fugitive dust was an issue at both the Los Angeles River and at the San Gabriel River. A water truck was brought from the yard to water the access roads being used during the shift.
City of Paramount
No work occurred in the City of Paramount during the shift.
Watson Station
City of Carson
No work occurred at the Watson Station during the shift.
Industry Station
City of Walnut
The crew at the Industry Station continued laying and welding pipe between the two railroad bores towards the proposed pump and engine locations.
