Strength Requirements For All Classes Of Lines

44.1    Installation

In computing the transverse and vertical strength requirements of a line, the safety factors set forth in the following table shall be met.  In computing the longitudinal strength requirements, these safety factors shall apply except for lines with balanced longitudinal stresses and lines of different grades of construction.  (See Rules 47.4 and 47.5.)
