The ultimate fiber strength of pole sand cross arms shall be assumed as follows:
Douglas fir |

Pine Dense |

Redwood (round, first growth) |
6,200 pounds per square inch |
Redwood (sawed) |
3,900 pounds per square inch |
Western red or white cedar |
