43 | Temperature and Loading |
The following conditions of temperature and loading shall be usedfor the purposes of these rules in determining the strength required of poles, towers, structures, and all parts thereof and in determining the strength and clearances of conductors. More stringent conditions may be used, if desired, in the design of lines. The use of modified conditions or modified loading district limits may be authorized by this Commission upon application and presentation of data from United States weather records or other adequate and authenticated meteorological data which in the Commission’s opinion justifies such change. |
