Draft SEIR Review Period
The 45-day
public review period for the Draft SEIR ended January 20, 2000.

Public Meetings
A public participation hearing was conducted by the
Administrative Law Judge, John B. Weiss, on January 21, 2000, at the Huntington Beach Public
Library. The purpose of the hearing was to receive oral comments from parties that
had not submitted written
comments on the Draft Supplemental EIR (SEIR).
A public informational meeting on the Draft SEIR was held at
6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2000, at the Huntington Beach Public
Library. The
findings of the Draft SEIR were presented at the meeting and the
public was provided the opportunity to ask questions about the SEIR.
The CPUC conducted scoping meetings for the project in Seal Beach on
July 22, 1999, and in Huntington Beach on July 23, 1999. The
comment period for the Notice of Preparation ended August 16, 1999.
