General Provisions

12.3    Systems Constructed Prior to These Rules

The requirements of these rules do not apply to systems or portions thereof constructed, reconstructed or replaced prior to the effective date of such rules, except as set forth below. In all other particulars, such systems or portions of systems shall conform to requirements 1n effect at the time of their construction or replacement.

A.    The following rule was made applicable to all systems on December 12,1967.
