Detail Construction Requirements – Tower Lines
74 Guys And Anchors.
The use
of guys in connection with towers is generally undesirable. When used they shall be of galvanized steel
or copper clad steel cable not less than 5/16 inch diameter or galvanized
rolled rods or equivalent tensile strength.
Anchor rods shall be of galvanized steel with a minimum diameter of 5/8
inch or shall be made of other material of equal strength and durability. (See Rules 65 and 66.)
