96    Supports For Messenger Wires.

All messenger wires supporting aerial cables of 75 pair No. 19 or 100 pair No. 22 A.W.G. or over where supported on the pole or structure by a single bolt and clamp shall have attached an additional “safety”: bolt and clamp (or other similar “safety” appliance) equal in tensile strength to the first bolt and clamp.
