54.10-B1) Clearance from Poles: Multiconductor cables having a bare neutral may have clearances less than 15 inches from center line and three inches from surface of pole, as specified in Table 1, Column D, Cases 8 and 9, respectively, but shall have a clearance of not less than 2½ inches from the surface of pole and shall be supported on an insulator.
