Commission's (CPUC) Williams Communications, Inc. Fiber Optic Cable System Installation Project
web site. On October 21, 1999, the CPUC approved the Williams original Application
Number A98-12-037 for ten routes and issued a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity. In December 1999,
Williams filed a Petition to Modify their application. This petition requested a major
route change for the approved Point Arena to Robbins route and added a new route from Point
Arena to Sacramento. The CPUC is reviewing the Petition to Modify.
