The
following rules cover certain special details for the construction of supply
lines or signal lines crossing over railways, not including street railways
traveled portions of highways. These
rules are supplemental to the rules given for lines in general, and to the rules
covering construction details of the various classes of lines when alone, and
such rules shall be followed in all respects except as modified herein, or when
clearly inapplicable to railway crossing construction.
